Digitally Signed Forms
With forms supporting custom VBScript a form can be used as a way for hackers and viruses to take advantage of our users. To avoid this we have added security poilicies preventing a user from running a form not authorize by the user, we do this by digitally signing forms. Form publishers must provide detailed information on the company and/or person(s) developing the form(s). We keep in contact with each company or person we approve to ensure they are releasing safe and reliable forms.
You can run unsigned forms, as well you can turn off the warning message for each form. To run unsigned forms without the warning just check the box "Trust this form" when you are first prompted. An unsigned form will display this:
Once you are approved we will send you a FDS (Form Digital Signature) file that you can use to sign all your forms from within the Forms Creator. Every time you compile a form you want to sign you must be connected to the internet to communicate with our servers, you will be prompted for your password, and your form will be compiled with a date and time stamp on the digital signature. When a signed form is run a user will be prompted with this screen:
To obtain an FDS (Form Digital Signature) file you must either be a partner by selling your forms online through our forms library, or by purchasing a yearly renewal signature file for $120.00. To place an order please contact us.
